MOT Testing
Best Autocentres conduct MOT testing for all cars (class 4 except three wheeled vehicles). An MOT takes approx 1 hour.
All vehicles over 3 years old must have an annual test to ensure they meet the minimum safety standards set out by VOSA. It is important to be aware that an MOT certificate relates only to the condition of your vehicles testable items at the time of the test and should not be taken as evidence of the general mechanical condition of the vehicle.
Emissions testing is carried out as part of the MOT test to ensure that vehicles are not producing harmful gasses in excess of the strict government guidelines.
All test results are now entered directly onto the DVLA central computer meaning that prospective vehicle purchasers may obtain a full MOT history, and owners can obtain road tax, online via the DVLA website.
After your first test with Best Autocentres we will send you a reminder in the month previous to its next due date. Tests can be undertaken up to one calendar month before the due date and still be dated 12 months from the original due date.
