WHEEL ALIGNMENT

We always recommend that new tyres are balanced and you take advantage of our free wheel alignment check. Tyres will wear both unevenly and prematurely if wheel alignment is not set correctly. Wheel alignment issues can be caused by accidental collision with potholes, kerbs etc. When the vehicle is driving the wheels should be parallel to each other, when the front of the wheels point inwards (toe in) the tyres will wear on the outside edges. When the front of the wheels point outwards (toe out) the tyres will wear on the inside edges. It's always worth remembering that we check wheel alignment free of charge....… if we do not have to reset it then there is no cost.
